My Story

A New England native, Nadia grew up in Providence, Rhode Island.  Providence being the capital of Rhode Island, is well known for it's diversity and inner city flare. As a kid Nadia  experienced the cons of growing up in an urban neighborhood with barriers. Nadia was able to take these cons and turn them into pros that enabled her to bring a cultivated awareness of cultural disparities into her practice. Her ability to relate and understand the "struggle" allows her to establish that rapport and mutual respect from patients of all ages. Her down to earth approach is always embraced by her patients.

Nadia pursued her nursing career at Salve Regina University in Newport RI with graduated with a BSN degree.  She obtained her MSN degree at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA., specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.  She then completed a Post-graduate certificate at the University of Cincinnati and became a board certified Psychiatric Mental health Nurse Practitioner. She achieved her terminal Doctor of Nursing degree at the University of Cincinnati.

Nadia has worked in various areas in her medical career to include: critical care, spinal cord injuries, dialysis, long term care, geriatrics, primary care and mental health.  She is dual board certified by the ANCC as a FNP and PMHNP.  She has the skills and abilities to diagnose and treat patients across the lifespan. She has over 15yrs in the medical field and teaches Basic Life Support as a CPR instructor in her spare time.

Nadia enjoys traveling, music and spending time with her family.
